Yummy sliders for dinner ! Im not going to post the recipe because they are pretty much just mini hamburgers. They are the cutest little things! fun to make and quick to bbq!! This was our first time making them and for sure sure won't be the last! I really liked how small they were becuase i always feel like i can never finish a whole hamburger. A great small, delicate but tasty summery meal :)

Spicy Mesquite Chicken Fettuccini

Hmm.. well.. I have mixed feelings about this dish... the boys loved it and i thought it was very bland and needs some serious tweaking! So if you are willing to try it and you have some good ideas to make it taste better.. please tell me and I would love to try it that way, Or rather.. you try this dish and see what you would do to make it better :) ..Not sure why but this recipe just didnt' do it for me.! But I was glad my boys liked it :)

Ranch Baked Quesadillas

wooooo weeeee!!! A yummy summery or anytime kind of snack or meal! Ranch Baked Quesadillas. I just bought this book and this recipe is in it! I am soo happy it turned out sooo yummy! We LOVE quesadillas but this tops them all! I must say that over 80% of the recipes in this book are what my family would eat! This  being the first out of this book! Im super duper excited! Looking forward to our next turn out from here! Lots of chicken ideas coming your way!

Caesar Pasta Salad with Grilled Chicken

Boy its been a while since ive cooked anything new! Its been one busy month this last month! It's already July! So since its summer, we decided to try a little something cool for the summery weather. Justin and Matthew absolutely LOVED this dish ~ Caesar Pasta Salad with Grilled Chicken !! Cajun Grilled Chicken

This dish was alright.. not that enthused about it. It was a usual summer grilled chicken. But i can't say it wasn't bad! I think what wasn't so great about it, was that I forgot to spray Pam on the grill before putting the chicken on it so the chicken stuck to the grill and that was a huge pain! LOL! so it felt like i had over cooked it in a way. but overall a decent little dish. Cajun Grilled Chicken

Grilled Sesame-Ginger Chicken

It's that time of year to be a BBQ'n!!! Love Spring time and the smell of something yummy bbquing on the grill! Today I tried this new recipe Grilled Sesame-Ginger Chicken and it wasn't too bad. I've honestly had better, but it was pretty good for something different and new. Very ginger tasting. I also added Gramps special rub that he makes. We pretty much add it to EVERYTHING that we make or cook or bake or bbq :) Overall.. it was a decent taste and i would make it again, but probably add spices and or recreate it to make it taste even better.

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Oh my! So good! I was really surprised at how good this turned out. I was pretty skeptical at first, but boy is it good! Matthew and I can't seem to get enough of it! It's really good in a warm tortilla too! Or with Bread. Mmmmm!! It doesn't look like much in the picture with all that yummy melted cheese on top! But the inside.... oooh... gotta make it to find out how good it is !! Check it out!

Asian Orange Chicken

Talk about feeling like you just went and sat down at a Chinese food place and ordered some of the best Orange Chicken you'll ever eat! My goodness this was soooo YUMMY!! So looking forward to left overs tomorrow! This dish is to die for! You have got to try this dish! Especially if you love Chinese food and don't want to have to go dine out just to enjoy a delicous meal! This has two thumbs up fo sho!!!

Oven Baked Garlic & Parmesan Fries

Another fantastic side dish !!! I have to keep the boys from eating the entire pan of fries! So yummy!!

I think this is a family favorite for sure! Too bad Justin was at work and couldn't try this. I will save him some to try tomorrow! I have a feeling he will love them! Super easy to make as well! OMG!! By far the best pasta we've had yet! You will absolutely LOVE this Dish! My picky palaters couldn't get enough of it!!! MMM.. so yummy!!!

Anniversary Chicken

I've been in the mood lately to make more new dishes! Couldn't wait to try the Anniversary Chicken ! It sounded so yummy and come to find out it was pretty delish! My boys scarffed it down! Yeah to a great new dish that we will make again! =)

Sausage & Egg Breakfast Sandwich

I'm a total sucker for Starbucks Breakfast Sandwiches! They are sooooo Yummy !! So i decided to try making them at home. Ofcourse it's a bit different.. but They tasted Delicious!!! My picky palaters LOVED them as well! Quite Scrumptious! Easy to make and not sure why I didn't try making them before! ( Sausage & Egg Sandwich) We are huge breakfast eaters any time of the day! =)

Pasta Primavera

Interesting pasta. I found this little piece from allrecipes.com. I thought it was ok. My picky palaters loved it though! So Im very happy about that =) Looks like I was the picky one for the night on this dish! LOL! Glad it was a success though =)

Home Made Scalloped Potatoes

Tonight I decided to try my hand at baking homemade Scalloped Potatoes! My picky palaters love them!!! The down side to trying new recipes is that you learn what you can do to change it for the next time or what you think you might add to make them a bit more tasty. The potatoes tonight tasted great! Next time I think I will try adding some Velveeta cheese to them. MMMMM!! 

Fun & Tasty Challenge

I have decided to try something out! I am going to attempt to make one new recipe a week and blog about it!! Blog what my picky palate eaters say about the recipe that i made. (meaning Justin, Luke, Matthew and myself) I have a couple of passions and that is cooking and photography! I started a blog last summer about posting recipes but that didn't seem to feel like it was satisfying. So this time I am going to make it a challenge! Have you seen the movie Julie & Julia with Amy Adams and Meryl Streep? Well it's a girly movie, but i love it! I love the challenge in the movie and that is what gave me the idea to try out a new recipe once a week and blog about it! I am pretty excited to start the hunt for what i want to make first! I hope you enjoy it as much as I will cooking or baking it and watching and waiting to hear what my picky palaters will say!
